We had the pleasure of having sunday supper at Fiorella’s in Newton. We were extra lucky to bring our 4 year old daughter with us. This great italian eatery is tucked away in a small residential section of Newton on the Watertown line.
When you first walk through the door, the busy grill and open-air kitchen greets you. We met our blogging party and mingled while sipping on some drinks. We sat down and the owner of the restaurant, Remon, talked with us for a good 10 minutes about how he arrived at the concept of Fiorella’s and how he also has three other locations which offer a take-out version of the main items we sampled.
This location has been in business for over 20 years and from the looks of it is quite successful as the restaurant was absolutely packed on a Sunday night. For the food courses, they brought out a sampling of dishes for us to try, all of which were amazing and the chef also came out to talk with us. We also were given the option to order anything we wanted from the menu to ensure that we sampling something we actually wanted to eat.
A few things to note about the food: the fresh flatbread that they bring to the table upon being seated is AMAZING and the flatbreads pizza is cooked in the neapolitan style (new haven style) and is outstanding.
You can definitely bring your family to this restaurant and there were big groups there with family members young and old. This is also a great place to go for date night.
